Andrew Matthews

Andrew Matthews is a Director at ERE Healthcare Real Estate Advisors where he focuses on advising operators, investors and developers of healthcare real estate. Prior to moving to the U.S. and joining ERE Advisors, Andrew was a Senior Associate at Gerald Eve, a Newmark Company, within the capital markets team based in London, United Kingdom.

During his career, Andrew has advised on over $700 million of transactions across the operational real estate market, including Healthcare and Senior Housing. He has experience in advising a broad range of clients including institutional investors, REITs, property companies, developers and owner-users. His expertise includes single asset and portfolio transactions, development forward fundings and commitments, sale and leasebacks, ground rents and income strip structures. Andrew’s experience internationally has allowed him to develop a deep understanding of the investment market universe, enabling him to provide a unique perspective when it comes to structuring real estate transactions bespoke to his clients.

Andrew earned his undergraduate degree in BSc (Hons) Property Finance and Investment from Nottingham Trent University, where he graduated with a First-Class Honors degree. He subsequently went on to become a Chartered Member (MRICS) of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a global professional body for real estate professionals. Andrew also holds his California Department of Real Estate Salesperson License.
